The reason why I prefer Triond over most writing websites is that the screening process is very easy. If your article is at least a page in length and has decent English, you'll be able to make some pocket change with this website. Initially, you won't be getting a lot of money (perhaps 10 pennies), but after a while you'll get to the $5.00-a-month point and you won't have to write any more articles.
The community at Triond is generally very nice and helpful. However, the article quality is low for a lot of articles on Triond. Some articles aren't even typed in English correctly, and are ridden with typos. Even worse: a lot of articles are plagiarized copies, and for some reason the Triond filter isn't preventing it from posting.
Nevertheless, Triond is a great place for beginner writers to go to and start their online money making career. It's certainly not a get-rich-quick site, but it is one of the money work-hard-now, do-little-later websites. True residual income.
